Why is great?
- All the supporting roles are great;
- The Joker is so cool and Heath Ledger is so talented;
- Two face is impressive also

- the story is not abt hero; but the tension among bad guys and gd guys; the choice between evil and gd

- why Rachel Dawes? she's not pretty at all, but she supposed to be a beauty in the movie

Jet Lag - A gd thing
It's 4am in the morning, God gives me a very quiet space to review my internal unresolved feeling:
1. why I am a bit troubled from the 8-year vs 1-year thing
- I care about people's recognition and I was not being recognized
- Disappoint about my company for not offering me the opportunity
- Obviously I was not doing good enough and I could do better in terms treating people and handling things
2. The positive side I learn from the instance
- I got room to further improve in terms of personal growth and dealing with people, not from the world's valuation, but from God's requirement for me to "Love'
- Something is better waiting form me ahead, and that's more suitable for me in God's sight and His valuation. It's definitely something gd for me to grow in him head, joyfully
- There is a gap between how I see myself and people seeing me; to play as a right servant no matter in company or church, I need to submit myself to people and demolish my self-centreness
This is a good chance and timing fro me to take a break and spend time to explore my new direction
3. God's encouragement and light in the middle of my prayer

The Ruins
Another trash horror movie, nothing really special, no breakthough, if comparing with SAW or the Hostel.
88 Minutes
This is a fair movie to watch. Still very Hollywood... cliche screenplay, chiche thriller, no surprised ending, but still the most interesting thing to watch how Al Pacino using his psychiatrist to find out who's the murderer and the one who set him up. So, is a psychiatrist's testimony objective and sufficient enough to charge someone into guilty? Any profession can tell?
The make up makes Alicia Witt so different...
Prom Night
This is the 13th version of Scream, how many screams upcoming, who's going to scream, or scream to stop rolling more trash movies like that. This one is even worse than Scream, not even a moment to guess who's the killer.
The Forbidden Kingdom / 功夫之王
A trash cross over of Jet Li & Jackie Chan, two old men playing the same thing 20 years ago, I respect their endeavor to KungFu though. But why the delivery of staff to Monkey King is responsible by a foreign kid, won't this be too American shitty dream? Liu Yifei looks gorgeous but her outlook at the last scene is 60's. Anyway, not recommend to watch it.

Going by the Book / 바르게 살자
Oh, the move is extremely creative!!!!!!! The idea is simple: a town has two many robberies, then the police chief has initiated an idea to imitate a robbery to test the efficiency of police force. A cop with ironic principles is asked to rob a bank... he's too devoted into the role and really rob the bank professionally and basically K.O the entire police force completely...
Life is like: if you're too focus on your work but don't know how to kiss your boss or other bosses' ass, you're set to be trapped, what a mock of the real world; but then the movie mocks the real world, I like it.
The last scene at the dead end is worthy of an big applause
Why shouldn't naive and profession win?

It's an okay movie. Some of the battle scenes reflected the progressive execution of Chinese movie industry. From my eye sight, the movie is telling the stupidness of WAR, people sacrificed their life to kill other people, in return, they have nothing, the country they died for abandoned their fame once the focus is on economy, what a cruel truth!
Why fight?

- The movie is surprisingly gd and funny...
- I like the way the movie is telling what sells in fairy tale not necessary applicable in the real world, and mostly are broken hearts in the world and not a happy ending, but if you insist, you can still find your true love
- Question: shall we tell fairy tale/true story to kids? I am obviously a victim from the fairy tales...

Have listened to The Creation performed by Hong Kong Oratorio Society, the lyric is beautiful, just the music idiot like me don't know how to appreciate it. the Soprano Nancy Yuen was amazing, but tenor and Baritone were so so...
Artists and talented people in the old ages used their talents to praise and glorify God's works, how about today?

When's the last time I had such a great horror/violet movie, I recalled The Ring & Kill Bill. Anyway, the movie is extremely violet, bloody, cartoon, funny (yes indeed) and challenging your eyeball limit. It's a mix of Residential Evil & The Hostel. Basically it can be made as a game. The highlight is the actress couldn't breath with blood stuck within her throat, she used scissors to stick into her neck to release the blood, then she used adhesive tap to prevent the blood from spraying out. A must collect movie la.
And by the way, can't imagine is a French movie!

Shall We Kiss? / 吻下來，豁出去 - 32灸nd HK Film Fest
Friendship VS Love!
I still remember I used like a French movie called Kiss, that a guy and a gal were gd friends, they're fond of each other, but they didn't kiss becoz they enjoy the Pareto love relationship and they believed it's going to ruin the relationship if they started kissing each other.
For this movie, Shall We Kiss, it's not the same melody but with the same taste. A guy met a woman randomly, they fonded of each other, but they didn't dare to kiss becoz they're fear of the uncontrollable consequence. Then the woman started to tell a story about her friend's romantic but tragic experience...
The movie was so light, humorous and romantic. I like the filming, the art direction, the gestures and the scripts. It's a french movie but it's surprisingly not in slow pace, it's in gd momentum and so fresh to watch. I love so much the actor of the told story in the movie, he called for prostitute to relieve his physical lust, but then he didn't do that becoz the prostitute was reluctant to kiss him - he insists kiss is a must element in love making, he's cute.

Gloss: The Director's Cut / 超模夢 - 32nd HK Film Fest
It's a tortuous story about a Russian suburb girl who seeks her Model dream. It somehow reflects the current increasing discrepancy between the rich and the poor under Russia's fast economic development. People flows to city to seek dream, but under the money, all are about drugs, porns, prostitution, gangs. Behind the prosperity, it's just a dirty world: say, you can pay to customize a wife that exactly the same as a 60-70's celebrity. Love becomes a commodity.
It's not an very impressed movie, I like the tease of fashion world riding the imitation of Jean Paul Gautier and Karl Largerfield though.
My Father My Lord / 吾父吾主 - 32 Film Fest
Same day 2nd heavy movie, I still haven't recovered from the mind shock of"Into the Wild". It just kept shaking my thinking.
This one is a Israel movie regarding the a tragedy in a Jewish Church rebbi family. It wants to bring out the ridiculous, conflict that a very traditional Jewish family might have. It's boring but must have deeper religious meaning that I didn't know. It makes me associate the pharisee during the New Testament age.
Oh just learn it's a recall to the history of Abraham and Issac...

The ten / 玩十誡 - 32nd HK Film Fest
All because of Jessica Alba & Winona Ryder to watch this movie and then proves I am right, I will regret to pay for this movie without Jessica & Winona. The director tried to turn around 10 commandments for saying it's not up to reality anymore, and too many grey areas nowadays. But his execution is cheap... in Chinese 眼高手低"High vision Poor Execution"... pretty shallow indeed
Here's the brief synopsis: 借聖經十誡「老作」10個荒誕故事：有人因跳傘意外成為明星後來又打回原影，又有醫生因開玩笑害死病人入獄被同志「搔擾」；保守婦人來到墨西哥遇上靚仔耶穌變得有性有慾；更抵死地將Winona Ryder的偷竊新聞炒作，今次她轉偷情慾木偶，與一碌木大演床戲；白人父母誕下黑人twins，竟與阿諾州長有關？說故事的人自身難保，同居分手再同居，離離合合一鑊泡，最後以一班赤條條大男人每個星期日寧願在家中載歌載舞亦不願去守禮拜完場...

Chanel Mobile Art - Glad I Didn't Miss IT!
慕名走工而至，慶幸沒有錯過。Mobile Architect 沒有想像中elegant，但organic shape被林廈包圍，還是很contemporary的感覺。希望可以向更加多Zaha Hadid 的作品朝聖。
最inspiring the 作品有:
1. 大野洋子的 <<Special Wish Tree for CHANEL>>. It's an interactive experience with the art piece itself; and the installation itself is cocreated by the participants/audience.
2. 一個黑房，對著牆下積水的城市錄像倒影，酷死了!
3. Project shooting into a cartoon box vertically inside and the video is played within the box. A creative execution.

The actor is handsome and the actress is extremely beautiful. I knew it's going to be a boring movie, but the girl is too attractive that I am willing to pay for watching her acting. anyway, it proves that the movie was boring, the only appreciation that I can give is the director's intention to play with sound...
a guys chased a girl he met several years ago, it's like chasing the air. have I done such romantic thing before? Yes, when I was young. I think she's from 新法...
One Night in a City / 怪誕城妖夜 - 32nd HK Film Fest
I like dark humor, I like clay cartoon, I like Chez, I like weird things, so I like this movie...
- a man used his nose to take drugs, but the drug was Ant!!
- a man cut his ear to replace by another one in order to play gd music with better sensation to music tone, but then the ear was Van Goth's one, so he became a genius painter
- a guy who's a plant indeed, his shoes are pots and he drinks beer with his pots, doesn't it make sense?
Genius man makes genius work! It still took six years, there's no dry talk...

警察樂隊來訪時 / The Band's Visit - 32nd Film Fest
最讓我深刻的一段說話是 Simon 和 Itzik 在熟睡的嬰兒面前，討論著對婚姻失敗和人生的無奈: 人生如果是一場協奏曲，那麼不一定要是完美的結局，可能平淡也是結局，或戛然而止；最重要的是過程。
正如摘自鬼吹燈的一個故事:布萊梅，德國的一個地名。這個故事是個童話故事，故事裏的四隻動物——驢子、狗、貓和雞都感到生活的壓力太大，它們決定組成一個樂隊到布萊梅去演出，並認為它們一定會在那裏大受歡迎，從而過上幸福的生活。在它們心目中，到達旅途的終點布萊梅，即是它們的終極理想。
它們組成的布萊梅樂隊，其實一直到最後都沒有到達布萊梅，因為在去往布萊梅的旅途中，它們用智慧在獵人的小屋中擊敗了壞人，然後便留在那裏幸福地生活下去。雖然布萊梅樂隊從未去過布萊梅，但它們在旅途中，已經找到了它們希望得到的東西，實現了自我的價值...
正如在人生旅途中，我們已經得到了很多寶貴的東西，其價值甚至超越了我們一些還未達成的目標，目的地並不重要，重要的是在前往目的地過程中，我們收穫了什麼。
The Story:
一行八人的埃及警察禮儀樂隊被應邀到以色列為 Petah Tikvah 的文化中心開幕表演。因為言語不通和隊長 Tawfiq Zacharya (Sasson Gabai 飾) 顧全面子的性格，眾人結果流落到被遺忘的小鎮 Beith Ha-Tikvah。因為交通安排的關係，樂隊無可奈何地要在 Beith Ha-Tikvah 渡過一晚。幸虧得到小餐廳的老闆娘 Dina (Ronit Elkabetz 飾) 的幫忙，一眾樂隊成員得以下榻於當地的民居，不致於要流落街頭。不同文化和背景的人一晚相聚，結果令到各人畢生難忘。
Creama Coffee
Tried Creama Coffee at TST, a bit disappointed. Yes, the coffee came with art, but not really that impressive. Most importantly, the coffee didn't blew me away. OK to try though if walk by TST east.
Brunch Club
This is my all-time favorite brunch place, nice egg benedict, nice chocolate, simple but homey environment. Great place to "hea" and hang out.
Charlie Wilson's War
I like it! It's fun to watch the politics playing around CIA, Politicians, Riches, Religious Powers & Countries. It's a funny casted political film.
Some scenarios impressed me:
1. The 1st time Gust met Charlie with Guts! People got hired when they're qualified with guts
2. Charlie managed the conversation with Gust and his shitty internal charge at the same time, leadership comes with calm and steady emotion
3. Joanne was Christian Advocate, but she committed adultery. The loose standard of US Christianity in morality
4. The Pakistan president brought Charlie to the war front to convince him. Whenever you want to convince someone, you don't just share the ration, but pull them to see what you see
5. Once Charlie decided to go for it, he put his whole heart into it and drive it though. Whenever you identify your direction, you don't just talk, plan, but implement and on its top.
6. Charlie was back up by his Charlie's angels. His assistants were smart, looking great and professional. Gd leader hires great talents with Trustworthy relationship!

陶喆的《1.2.3我們都是木頭人》演唱會
與阿妹看了，比起前兩次差點。米米不再身邊，有點可惜。喜歡陶喆給予音樂新生命的創作方式，大部分音樂重新編曲，and his real time jam, cool, my all the time concert star. I don't pay to listen a CD in a concert but something live interpretation。最重要發現了懂vocal, flute, trombone, violin, guitar 的 Elisa，證明一個有talent的人可以有多charming就多charming。

看了飯島愛的自傳，看到了一些零碎的自己，過去還是還是如夢魘般煎熬著嗎﹖我如何才可以擺脫呢﹖
「許多都是在學校及家中找不到溫馨，都渴望著愛情及友情的孩子，寂寞的幼少心靈在街中徘徊…」
「這些許渴望的飾品及名牌，都只是誇飾自己外表的道句具，是為了裝飾空虛自己的必須品。不知當時是沒有察覺到自己的可悲呢﹖還是不願去察覺﹖漸漸地無聊的願望愈來愈膨脹，到了連自己都無法控制的地步。」

鬼吹燈
在美國閑適的生活裡，重拾了書本。第一本鬼吹燈之精絕古城教我一頭栽進盜墓的世界，表妹介紹得不錯。作者天下霸唱在文字、歷史、政治、地理、編劇各方面的功力實在厲害，但他只是一位業餘的作家，大陸真是奇人輩出。
推介給了媽媽，她亦中了書降，在被催促下一套七本在過了雪災後火速從當當網送進了書庫。
在人生寂寞的低坡裡，鬼吹燈陪伴了我。感謝神，讓書本拾回了我。

“人點燭，鬼吹燈”是傳說中摸金派的不傳之秘，意為進入古墓之中先在東南角點燃一支蠟燭才能開棺，如果蠟燭熄滅，須速速退出，不可取一物。相傳這是祖師爺所定的一條活人與死人的契約，千年傳承，不得破例。

全然大丈夫 / Fine, Totally Fine - 32nd Film Fest
很喜愛這套清新的電影:喜歡恐怖玩意電影的肥仔;滿有才華但缺乏生存能力的木村乃圭;有中年危機到處流浪重尋生命意義的爸爸;臉上有缺陷但負責修補工作的藝術技師。這套集友情、理想、年輕、現實的無奈、愛情、藝術、幽默、恐怖於一身的小品電影是我所難忘的。
難忘的片段:卡式帶的雨聲是女主角的音樂、重床上彈出來的恐怖捉弄玩意、你要投入興趣作為事業必須要有拼了命的缺心的一番對話、玻璃手指按電梯、老爸自行出版流浪 CD放在自己書店等...

No Country for Old Men 2百萬奪命奇案
I think the movie is quite nice, especially the war scenes and Anton Chigurh's characters. I like his weapon (so creative), his craziness and his profession and his obsession to tidiness. I also like the scene in the motel how Moss removed the money from one room to the other room. Just don't quite understood what the story is trying to tell??? The meaningless of life; the helpless when you're getting old?

1. 耶穌又進了會堂，在那裡有一個人枯乾了一隻手。
2. 眾人窺探耶穌，在安息日醫治不醫治，意思是要控告耶穌。
3. 耶穌對那枯乾一隻手的人說：起來，站在當中。
4. 又問眾人說：在安息日行善行惡，救命害命，哪樣是可以的呢﹖他們都不作聲。
5. 耶穌怒目周圍看他們，憂愁他們的心剛硬，就對那人說：伸出手來！他把手一伸，手就復了原。

I AM Legend / 魔間傳奇
Quite like the idea of what if there were only 1 guys living in Manhattan and the execution of whole movie of this simple idea. And I am amazed how the empty Manhattan is being executed, but i don't like the ending, too heroism. For me the movie is not too heavy.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street / 魔街理髮師
Well, I am quite disappointed with Tim Burton this time, the screenplay is not good, and I don't like the songs at all. The only things I can appreciate is the art direction and costume design. And too much blood, not because I don't like blood...
